Notes: With delicate arching stems this alpine species of Gentian produces sprays of blue trumpets in the mid to late summer. This seed is selected from blue and white flowered plants.
Cultivation: Sow seed in containers as soon as your seed order arrives. Containers should be placed in a coldframe to germinate, if sowing is done in spring, you should cover the pots loosely with plastic and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks to stratify the seed. Grow on in soil that is well drained in a rock garden or alpine scree. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
