 Helleborus foetidus |
Native Region: Western & Central Europe, United Kingdom Zone Range: 06-10 Preferred Climate: Temperate Harvest Date: Tuesday 27 June, 2006
Description: Some pretty unfortunate common names for such a beautiful plant. This evergreen perennial produces large clusters of pale green blooms in the late winter that remain attractive for many months after. The large palmate leaves are glossy dark green and make for an attractive backdrop for the flowers.
Cultivation: Sow seed in containers in a coldframe as soon as you receive your seed order. Grow on in any good garden soil rich in organic matter. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
