A small to medium evergreen shrub from the Irrorata group of Rhododendrons, this species grows to 2 meters in height, with an equal or greater spread. The flowers, produced in spring, are white to pale rose with purple spots, open-campanulate (bell-shaped) 3-4cm (2.5-3in) in diameter.
